Our story

OLEUM FLEX was established in 2012 to transfer and share the 20 years of experience and knowledge of the founders in hydraulic and industrial installations with business partners in solving their project tasks and challenging technical problems. Our desire and goal is to become the market leader in oil industry solutions in Croatia and Eastern Europe.

In 2013, we made a significant advancement by opening our branch in Lučko. Along with warehouse and workshop space, operational efficiency was improved. This has enabled us to respond more quickly to our clients' needs and opened new opportunities for expanding our offerings and services. This move has laid the foundation for the further growth and development of the company.

Successfully implemented subsidized project with the support of HAMAG BICRO through the "Entrepreneurial Impulse" program Measure A1. This project enabled the modernization of our business. Through this project, we acquired a hydraulic press with a capacity of 4", a testing table for testing pipes up to 2000 bar, and a fitting assembly device. Additionally, the external presentation of the company was further enhanced with the acquisition of a totem and flagpole, as well as the creation of a catalog, which has elevated the professionalism and recognition of the company. These investments were crucial for strengthening our operational efficiency.

An important step has been achieved in enhancing the quality of our operations through the implementation of a quality management system according to the ISO 9001:2015 standard. Certification to this internationally recognized standard confirms our commitment to the continuous improvement of processes, consistency in delivering quality products and services, and compliance with the highest industry standards. This certification has provided our clients with additional security and confidence in our ability to meet their expectations, while also enabling us to adopt a systematic approach to improving our business.

A significant breakthrough in the market has been achieved by forming a partnership with the renowned company ALFAGOMMA GROUP from Italy, a global leader in the production of hydraulic and industrial hoses and fittings. This partnership has allowed us to expand our range of premium quality products, ensuring our clients have access to the latest and most efficient solutions on the market. With ALFAGOMMA as our partner, we have further strengthened our position in both the domestic and regional markets, providing reliable solutions for all hydraulic and industrial system needs.

We have achieved significant business success by signing a multi-year contract with the Santierul Naval shipyard in Romania. This contract involves the supply of multicore pipes (multicore pipelines) and fittings for the construction of vessels NOV 589 – 594, thereby strengthening our presence in shipbuilding. Collaboration with this shipyard has allowed us to implement innovative solutions and further enhanced our expertise in specialized industrial segments. This project has opened new opportunities for collaboration in the international environment.

An important contract has been signed, marking a significant step in the development of modern passenger transport in the Republic of Croatia. The contract involves the supply of equipment from our production program for 12 electric low-floor trains intended for HŽ passenger transport, continuing the implementation of the project, which totals 32 electric trains. The delivery of our innovative solutions ensures a high level of efficiency and reliability for the trains, contributing to an improved passenger experience and ecological sustainability. The significance of this success is further amplified by the fact that the panels for the air installation are the result of our own development in collaboration with a team of experts from KONČAR ELECTRIC VEHICLES Inc.

An important event occurred when DNV certified OLEUM FLEX as an authorized manufacturer of high-pressure hydraulic flexible hoses. This certification confirms our commitment to the highest standards of quality and safety in production. With the DNV certification, our products not only meet rigorous industry requirements but also provide our clients with confidence in their reliability and durability. This endorsement further strengthens our market position and opens new opportunities for collaboration with leading companies in the industry.

With the completion of this project, a key step has been taken towards modernizing our business processes. Our warehouse, workshop, and production capacities have been upgraded, enabling us to manage resources more efficiently and increase productivity. We have also installed solar panels for electricity generation. The implementation of digital technologies and sustainable practices has not only improved our operations but also reduced our ecological footprint, further demonstrating our commitment to sustainable development. This project reflects our dedication to innovation and responsible business practices, ensuring that we remain competitive in the market while contributing to environmental protection.

A significant achievement has been made with the certification according to ISO 14001:2015, which focuses on the environmental management system. This certification confirms our commitment to ecological sustainability and responsible business practices, as well as our ability to effectively manage the environmental aspects of our activities. The implementation of the environmental management system in accordance with ISO 14001:2015 has allowed us to better identify and reduce our ecological impact, optimize resource use, and improve our processes. This step further strengthens our position as a responsible company in the industry and affirms our commitment to sustainable development and environmental protection.
